Submarine Tour in Hurghada

 We have visited Hurghada and booked all our local trips with Memphis tours. Memphis has organised all our local trips very professionally with high service levels. I strongly recommend their services if you are visiting any part of Egypt. Our tour guide Mr Aziz is exceptional. 7 Stars to both Memphis and Mr Aziz.

Me and my 13year old daughter have just come back from a visit to Makadi Bay, Hurghada and while we were there used Memphis Tours to organise our trip to Luxor and I cannot rate them highly enough! Fantastic company with some great guides.

Having researched a little while in the UK in the weeks before our trip to Egypt, I decided that we would visit Luxor and the temples and tombs around this area. However I didnt fancy 4hrs each way on a coach so decided to book a private car instead and it was one of the best decisions I have made. We were picked up at 5.30am promptly by Islam the guide for the first part of the journey, and Mohammed the driver for the whole day. Both were extremely courteous and welcoming. The journey is 4 hours to Luxor, with a break half way. It actually didnt feel that long and the car was very comfortable and islam was very informative and chatty along the way.

Once in Luxor our guide for the day was Alaa and he provided an excellent sevice, informative, helpful and also kind. The tour was well put together, showing us the major sites around Luxor - totally fascinating!
The resturant where we had lunch was brilliant - happy to accomodate us when learning we are vegetarians, and showing great kindness to my daughter who was feeling a little unwell from the heat. Because of this care, she was able to recover enough to complete the tour.

Because of the good service we recieved during our trip to Luxor, I was happy to organise other outings with the company - Alaa organised a visit to Hurgadha one evening to see an egyptian show/display - a brief history of Egypt with impressive models of the Sphinx etc, a display of horsemanship - which was brilliant, belly dancers, whirling dervishes and a coloured fountain display - beautiful. Our guide was Aziz and he showed us around the massive hotel complex where the show takes place and around the small museum that holds replicas of many famous Egyptian artefacts - again very imformative, interesting, and a fun evening - highly recommended!

Aziz was also able to organise trip on a glass bottomed boat - which was amazing. This boat doesnt just have a small veiwing hole - it has a section inside the boat that is submerged and has strengthed windows that provide huge veiwing stations. You sail out for about ten minute sat on the deck, looking at the beautiful coastline, then you go inside the boat where its nice and cool and take a seat and watch as millions of fish go by and see all the beautiful coral- its like an aquarium, there are so many fish! I can see why its a top destination for diving! Absolutely stunning - and a must do!

Memphis Tours are an excellent company and I fully recommend them, and thank them for making our trip to Egypt so memorable. If/when we get a chance to return I would definately use them again.
