Varkala

 

Varkala beach has a breathtaking setting. It lies an hour north the capital of Trivandrum in Kerala. The stunning beach has a peaceful atmosphere, compared to the now commercialized Kovalam. The location of the beach is magnificent; it has a long stretch of cliff bordered by views that extend over the Arabian Sea. Varkala is such a great place for people to relax; yoga and Ayurveda are popular there.
 

Gokarna

Ashvem/Mandrem/Morjim

 

Beaches of Ashvem, Mandrem and Morjim are the best trendy wide open beaches. They are located in north Goa, lined up next to each other. Baga

 

Baga beach in north Goa is known to be the most commercial beach. It is touristy and one of the most trendy beaches on the coast. The beach contains a number of activities: water spots, dolphin sightseeing trips, para sailing; and beach shacks, clubs, bars, and dining restaurants.
 

Kovalam

 

Kovalam is located not far from Trivandrum. It is known to be the beach with a lighthouse. It is one of the best beaches in India for surfing. The beach is made up of two coves: Hawa, also known as Eve’s beach and Lighthouse. Lighthouse is the biggest of the two, with its open air restaurants. The lighthouse has breathtaking views. There is a nearby Samudra beach for those who want somewhere a little more secluded.

 

Radhanagar Beach, Havelock Island

 

Radhanagar Beach in Havelock Island was once votes as Asia’s Best Beach by Time Magazine. It is the best remote beach; it is situated on Havelock Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands which are situated on the Bay of Bengal. Radhanagar Beach is known for its tranquility, still water and fine water sand.
