“Memphis Tours Egypt”
Gpalaciosuarez, 10/22/13
We travelled to Egypt one week after the 2013 protests in Cairo, we were quite nervous about the trip, however Memphis Tours had an excellent performance and made our experience in Egypt unforgettable.

All guides are very professionals, very friendly and with an excellent Spanish, they help you in every single aspect of your trip.

Congratulation to this great team, I will definitely use Memphis Tour again.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE WITH MEMPHIS TOUR. EGYPT IS SAFE!
Patricia & Barry Cathers, 10/17/13
We have no words to express our gratitude to all the wonderful, the most professional and friendly people at Memphis Tours. From the very begining, the planning process with Marwa, she was always so patient with us, showing many different options etc... and then came the political unrest, we considered canceling but decided to go ahead anyway.
Our tour manager, Abdel, was waiting for us basically right at the airplane! He helped us with visa, border control, everything! So professional, I've never seen that before. Took us to our beaufitul Mena House Hotel by the Pyramid, helped us to check in and all.
Our private tour guide Ahmed, knowledge at it's best! Went above his way to take us to the Egyptian Museum, Giza Plateau and all the sites. And our driver, so patient! Our stay in Cairo was wonderful, we felt super safe all the time.
We then travel by plane to Luxor, to board our 5* cruise Sonest Saint George, the best ever. Our tour guide there, Yasser, was also fantastic, he took us to so many wonderful sites along the Nile River, told us incredible stories about Kings, Queens and Goods, some of the Temples we visited at night... amazing experience. We will never forget.
While cruising the Nile, we travel to the sites by car, horse carriage and by small pedestrian ferries! The staff on the Sonesta Saint George were all fantastic, made us fell more than welcome. We made many friends and will never forget.
All the time, between flights, hotels, boats etc, there was always someone waiting for us to take us to where we needed to go, and always on time.
Sorry if we forgot to mention someone by name, you all rock! In a few more hours we will be leaving... so sad
PLEASE COME TO EGYPT, IT'S SAFE.

“Nile Cruise”
Greta BH, 10/21/12
We were part of a group 19 friends who spent 8 days seeing the most important sights of Egypt. Everything we did in Egypt was organized by Memphis Tours. We spent one day in Kairo visiting the Pyrmids and the Sphinx in addition to the Egyptian Museum. All was very welll organized and we hade a very nice guide caled Nasreen (?). The day after we flew to Luxor and embarked the Sonesta St George. The boat met all our expectations, very nice cabins, excellent food and very fiendly staff. The boat also had a nice sun deck with a bar and lounge area.
Througout our stay onboard the St George, we had a lot of sightseeing trips, all organized by Memphis Tours and led by our very enthusiastic guide, Ahmed El Prince. The sights in Egypt are impressive no matter what, but with the help of Ahmed we were able to understand some of the symbology and it made it so much more interesting. Ahmed even gave us lectures on ancient Egyptian Mythology and we were just awestruck by his tales.
All in all, an excellent trip made even better by Ahmed.

First class service
Sweet Moses, 7/8/12
Memphis made a trip to Egypt a completely hassle-free experience. From booking to conclusion they were excellent. We used them for a tour of Cairo, internal transfers to Aswan and beyond, and internal flights to Sharm from Luxor. Some highlights were;

- Airline cancelled an internal flight pre-booking, Memphis arranged a suitable alternative with no fuss and no cost to us.
- Upgraded our hotel in Cairo post booking (based on Trip Advisor rating).
- Upgraded our boat for a Nile cruise post booking (based on Trip Advisor rating).
- Arranged an excellent guide for ancient Cairo and surrounds (known by all other Egyptologists we met, and a teacher to more than one of them!)

They could have done nothing more to make our trip a pleasure.

If you are going to Egypt, Memphis Tours is the company to work with
NathalieA123, 3/26/12
From start to finish they were very professional and attentive to any questions, concerns and requests. My mother and I visited Egypt in January 2011.Our tour Consultant Mustafa Ahmed was super nice and always available to answer questions regarding out trip...Our greeter in Cairo, Hassan Musleh, was knowledgable and gracious..Our greeter in Aswan, Abu Grisha was extremely helpful and resourceful..
To be honest, Egypt is one of the safest countries I have ever travelled in..I never felt scared or nervous at any point and Memphis Tours was always there to make the travel transitions go smoothly.
I work in production and I can honestly say that Memphis tours insured our very special trip went without a hitch...I will visit Egypt again. There was way too much to much to see and just not enough time in this very rich and interesting country...

PleasantTravels5, 3/6/12
Our 2 week private guided holiday was organised very efficiently by email. It was a composite of the tours available on their excellent website and was excellent value for money. All of the connections went very smoothly and we were very well cared for throughout the trip. Sailing down the Nile on a luxury dahabiya was a highlight as we were the only guests and there were few people at the monuments. It was a very relaxing interlude after the excitement and chaos of Cairo. Abu Simbel is amazing and well worth the extra effort to get there. This is a great time to visit Egypt; there are no crowds at the the historical sites and the locals appreciative our support.

Fantastic Service
RDave, 3/4/12
My wife and I travelled to Egypt for a little under a week with a very busy itinerary covering Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. We had a package deal with Memphis tours and found the team very helpful.
Right from the initial ‘live chat’ via their website with Abdo and our initial greeting from a rather sharply dressed Tour Leader, Hamada (who was rather easy on the eye, much to my wife’s content), in Cairo through to the final wave goodbye to our Luxor tour leader, Ruby (who taught us some ‘interesting’ Arabic words to use at the markets!), we were well looked after from beginning to end.
The team were very flexible with our chopping and changing the itinerary several times at the last minute. We were a little apprehensive given the recent political climate but found the limited tourists made the sites much more pleasant to visit with no queues or waiting time.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and, of course, the advantage of personal guides is the ability to ask a multitude of questions. The only constructive feedback I would leave would be in Cairo where we felt that our Guide was conducting the tour as if we were in a group of 20 and following a set script. Nevertheless, the information was excellent and everything ran like clockwork. We were particularly impressed by our Aswan Guide, Hassan, who spent an hour haggling down a statue of Akhenaten we fell in love with to a very reasonable price. All the guides had degrees in Egyptology and had a clear passion around the subject. Our tour guide, Nabil, spent 30min giving us the background in Valley of the Kings before we even set foot in any of the sites which really enriched our experience.
A special thanks to both Hamada and Ruby for giving us a fantastic holiday we will remember for years to come.

Perfect trip- Breathtaking place, wonderful people and unbelievable history! Memphis tours arranged the perfect trip
Aaron Ankita, 2/29/12
*Those who drink from the Nile once... are destined to return*- This Egyptian proverb describes our feelings after the tour.

Our overall impression of Egypt could not be better and we will definitely return for a longer tour with none other than Memphis tours! I've written a detailed review below, but have also given ratings here (for the people who don't like reading much :P)

Egypt= 5* Stunning, beautiful and magical land! A must visit!
Egypt people= 5*Wonderful, happy, warm people. Nobody tried to cheat us or seemed like a threat unlike a few reviews stating so.
Safety= 5* Extremely safe!!! Lets just say I live in Australia in a posh expensive suburb and drunk men whistle at me if I walk alone. Egypt was more safe and people were respectful towards women.
Tour class and arrangements= 5* Luxury and absolutely fantastic!
Cleanliness and hygiene= 5* After reading a few review online we expected Egypt to be dirty, chaotic and unorganized. Upon getting there we were surprised to see how clean, organized and safe it is!!

Would I recommend Memphis tour= 5* ABSOLUTELY! Extremely professional and generous!

Detailed review: We decided to go to Europe for our Honeymoon and do a stop-over in Egypt. On my fathers recommendation we extended the one-day Egypt stop over to a week long stop, but were uncertain of the whole thing. After visiting Egypt and Europe we were glad to have spent time in Egypt as Europe faded away in front of Egypt's grandeur!
To plan our trip we decided to get in touch with Memphis tours after reading the countless fantastic review online and custom planned a week long honeymoon trip for us. It was the easiest, most smooth and extremely professional trip I've ever planned. As it was our Honeymoon, Memphis tours wonderful representative Mohamed Mokhtar threw in a few complimentary sightseeing, tours and farewell dinner for us. The whole process was absolutely smooth and efficient.

At the airport we were greeted by the Memphis representative and taken to our Hotel Oberoi Meena House. We were on a hassel-free luxury holiday where we were taken care of every minute and had nothing left to do ourself, except to enjoy and let the beauty of Egyptian architecture, history and people amaze us. Waking up to the Pyramids outside our window was a dream and being taken everywhere according to our convenience when we wanted was fantastic. Memphis tours were extremely flexible with last minute changes to our daily itineraries too. I've traveled all over the world but the beautiful rich culture and history Egypt offers has left me spellbound. The only other place that has such magical effect, grandeur and rich culture is India.

Our stay at Oberoi Meena house, transfers, air tickets, cruise bookings everything was taken care of by Memphis and they made sure we were at the right place doing the right thing at the right time without tying us in any strict schedule. The Al Jamila cruise on the Nile was fantastic even though the water level was low. Our Egyptologist Mohamed was extremely nice, kind and had answers to all our weird questions. We were mesmerized everyday by new historical stories, places and the Egyptian peoples dedication to preserve their brilliant history. On our last day on board the cruise couldn't move to Luxor as the water level was very low, people on the boat with other tours were driven a few hours to Luxor and back to the boat, and the same was repeated the next day. But Memphis tours arranged for our over night stay at the Sheraton Hotel in Luxor and saved us the back and forth inconvenient travel to the cruise. We thought the arrangements were extremely professional and kind. Memphis tour services were perfect, couldn't find a fault anywhere and would like to thank Memphis for arranging such a wonderful Honeymoon trip for us.

Back in Cairo, we had the best guide Amany who was full of knowledge and Egyptian history. Such knowledge and genuine enthusiasm were extremely impressive. Our chauffeur in Egypt Ahmid Mohsin made our every drive during the trip fun filled. We would like to recommend him to everyone and would definitely ask for him for our next trip. He introduced us to lovely Egyptian trance :P and even got us hooked to a particular number we liked listening to on repeat. On our last day at the airport he surprised us with his lil gift to us- the CD of our Favorite Egyptian number! Egyptian people are truly warm and kind. We said our goodbye to Egypt with a heavy heart, onward to Europe which couldn't impress us(except Norway which was stunning and breath taking) after all that we had seen in Egypt, even though we tried hard not to compare. The Land of the Nile has us mesmerized and we shall return :)

Thanks Memphis tours for arranging such a wonderful Egypt tour for us and leaving no stone unturned to make it perfect!

A wonderful and memorable trip...all thanks to Memphis Tours
reetzy, 2/13/12
I visited Egypt from 3rd Feb 2012 to 12 Feb 2012 . I am a sort of person who hated guided tours and have till date always traveled with my family planning trips on our own and setting our own pace. But considering the present situation in Egypt and the fact that this time I was traveling solo, I decided to go through a tour company. I had read some reviews about Memphis tours on this site and decided to get in touch with them. From the first time I contacted them, I was made to feel comfortable. Mr Maged Al Gohary was an excellent tour advisor who was prompt to answer my queries and make the itinerary according to my interests. He tailor made my holiday and was wonderfully reassuring.
The trip was wonderful from the word go. I was met at the Cairo airport by Mohammad Abdo who was assigned to me as my guest relations person. I was transferred to the hotel and explained in detail about my trip starting the next day. I was given a mobile phone that was charged enough to make 30 mins worth of local calls. This helped me to keep in touch with Mohammed whenever required. The hotels and the boat I was put up in through out the trip were good std...the food was good..the guides were excellent...here I must mention Ahmed during the cruise and another Ahmed in Cairo and Alexandria. Both were extremely knowledgeable and were ready to answer all my queries untiringly. Imad at Luxor was also great company. Through out the trip I was well looked after and felt really safe. Everything was planned to the last detail and I did not have to worry about anything...made my trip relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable!!!! Thank you memphis tours, Maged, Mohamed, Ahmed and Imad!!!!!!

Memphis Tours is Awesome!
Mark G, 2/5/12
We contacted Memphis Tours after seeing the good reviews on
Tripadvisor. We arranged our 10 day/9 night trip via email with our
personal tour consultant, Abdo Younis. This process went very
smoothly, even with our changes and questions, and we were
provided a detailed day by day itinerary.

We were greeted at the airport by our Cairo coordinator, Hamada Amir.
Hamada escorted us to our hotel , got us checked in, gave us a cell
phone for the duration of our trip, and went over the next day’s
itinerary. Hamada or his counterparts, Mustafa in Aswan, and Ahmed in Luxor were always there to greet us and make sure we made it to our next destination.

Memphis had everything covered, we were always met by a trip coordinator, a guide, or both. It was always a Memphis Tours van and driver that took us from place to place when needed. This company really has it’s stuff together.
Also, a word on the guides who actually escort you and explain the history and context of the sites. Our favorite was a young Egyptologist named Mohamed Emam who was our guide for the Aswan to Luxor cruise portion of our trip. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about these temples and tombs, he has a genuine passion for the subject. He was also a lot of fun.
We had a female tour guide in Alexandria and for the Cairo Museum named Rania Yahia who was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

We rode camels and horses beside the Giza pyramids at dawn, toured the
pyramids inside and out, the sphinx, the step pyramid, Ramses II
statue at Memphis, Abu Simbel, Aswan High Dam, Philae temple, the
Unfinished Obelisk, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut,
Karnak & Luxor temples, Hot Air Balloon Ride in Luxor, Tombs of the Nobles, Alexandria, Qaitbay Citadel, Catacombs, Cairo Museum. We stayed at Le Meridien Pyramids Resort, Movenpick Aswan Hotel, Jaz Minerva Cruise.
If you go to Egypt, make sure you see Abu Simbel. It is worth the 3 1/2 hour ride or you could fly.

Despite the concern of pretty much everyone that we told we were going to Egypt, we never felt the slightest bit insecure the entire time we were there.

The trip exceeded our expectations and I would like to thank Hamada, Mustafa, and Ahmed, along with our drivers (Osama, Saeed, etc) for taking such good care of us.

I and my family will shortly be travelling to Egypt on the famous Nile Cruise and the pre-travel arrangements for the same have been done by me from Memphis Tours. The interaction till date has been very fast and crispy clear to all my queries which mind you were quite a few so guess I can say this that I was helped and guided at all steps for my booking arrangements and I think that I have got an excellent deal.

To all those looking for a similar kind or an exhaustive trip in Egypt I would recommend just go ahead and book yourselves with Memphis Tours.

Wait and watch for my further review once I return from the trip.

Memphis Tours and Sayed Selim made our vacation outstanding!!!!!!
colton8camree5, 1/30/12
WOW!!! What an amazing vacation. Thank you Memphis Tours for exceeding our expectations and making our trip exceptional. From start to finish, every detail was meticulously outlined. Even though our arrival time was later than planned, a representative from MT was there to make sure we arrived at the boat safely. In fact, Memphis Tours rearranged our tour schedule so we were able to tour the Luxor and Karnack Temple that night. Special thanks to Sayed Selim. God blessed us when the company assigned such a knowledgeable and professional Egyptologist. He had the task of babysitting three free-spirited females with assertive personalities; one a little more challenging than the others. His expertise in Egyptian history as well as his street smarts aided in dealing with the daily hustle and bustle of trying to see as much as we could.

Pro’s
Magnificent temples and structures. History! History! You’re walking in the same areas as the great queens and kings. King Tut’s Tomb…. The Egyptians do their best to welcome visitors to their land. The accommodations might not be as extravagant as you are used too but they are doing the best they can.

Con’s
Hassling by the merchants. Horrible at times. Listen to your guide and don’t let it spoil your trip. A kind “no” and keep walking is the best advice. Our guide let us know of the best places to buy where you could stop and look without the pressure.

Again special thanks to Memphis Tours and the boat crew. Thank you Abdo Yunnis for responding to my emails in a timely manner and making me feel like I was your only client. Thank you to the ship’s crew. Food was great and so was the service. Sayed Selim, our new Egyptian brother, You ROCK! Everyone keep up the great work and I hope to visit Egypt again very soon.

Safe, fascinating, warm, exceptionally hospitable people well managed tour
Arlyne230, 1/21/12
I went with my 19 year old granddaughter who is studying Middle Eastern Culture and Languages. The New York Times had an article saying it was safe to travel, cheaper and because of the "safety" issue uncrowded. Through this website, I got in touch with Memphis and Yousri Abdallah worked with me to plan our 10 day trip. We quickly became Yousri and Arlyne and through emails and his telephone calls arranged an identical trip including the same 5 star hotels as an American tour which was priced considerably more. Yousri made any changes I asked for, also giving money saving advice. All our hotels were great, but Mena House is one of the great hotels of the world and well worth going to. Not only was their staff solicitous but the view facing The Pyramids breathtaking.
I would also recommend seeing Abu Simbel. It is a long drive, but our driver and our guide Hassan made it so much fun and we're so helpful. I 'm sorry not to have every one 's exact name.
We went to Aswan as well. We then went to our river cruise and met Ahmel El Prince who is well named. He was very knowledgable, extremely well organized and solicitous. On board, we were 10 travelers, a part of the Memphis group. Ahmed made everyone feel taken care of, and always answered all our questions both on and off the ship. Going off the ship was exciting. My granddaughter had no really warm clothing and we hit a really cold spell. Ahmed kindly loaned her his leather jacket which made her trip much more comfortable. She kept it until we left to go home when she returned it to him at the Cairo airport. I mention this because of his genorosity, but everyone we met was incredibly kind. I want to mention Mohammed our excellent tour manager in Cairo, Adel our diver in Cairo who managed to avoid potholes when he could and who never lost his cool in the most horrendous traffic. This is an exciting time in Egypt, a country facing many problems, but where people are in search of a constitutional democracy. They deserve our support and going there is a non- political way of helping.

Pre-travel arrangements
firsttimer17, 7/22/11
Originally contacted Memphis Tours after reading reviews on trip advisor and also checking that they have been in business for a long time and have an excellent reputation and track record of providing top notch service and assistance for their clients.
We completed our itinerary and booked travel for October in January 2011, days prior to the protests and subsequent changes and progression that is occuring today. Throughout our experience we have been blessed to have Mr. Abdo Younis, who has been our travel consultant and Memphis Tours representative handling our arrangements. With patience, understanding and skill and care he has been able to save our trip plans and maintain our required itinerary and cost basis, after our original flights and dates were changed when our original international airline decided against their planned startup flights to Egypt. The changed flight plans and dates were accomodated and we look forward to our trip and to meeting Mr. Abdo Younis and personally thank him for all his excellent service and followup. His personal attention gives us confidence in our accomodations and itinerary and the pace that he has planned for us.

Memphis Tours are #1”
KUBES70, 2/12/11
Great people to have show you their country
Made us feel welcomed and secure
We enjoyed the history lessons and the great sense of humour of your people
Even the little detours that we took, like sitting at the sidewalk cafe in Giza prior to going to the night show at the pyramids was a great experience.
Hope to re-visit Egypt again, and will call Memphis Tours for all our needs.
The Pyramids, are truly magical, hard to describe the feeling

thanks again

Excellent company
annikins90, 2/9/11
Last year I travelled to Egypt by myself and as I am a single female i didnt want to have to go to all the major sites by myself and was looking for a company that i could make a custom tour with so i could see what i wanted to see. I came across Memphis Tours and with the help of Yosri we arranged a custom tour which was exactly what i was looking for.

When it was time to start my tour i had met up with another couple form Australia and they were wanting to see the same sites as me so i asked my tour guide Mohamad if it was possible for them to tag along. With no trouble at all there were now three of us going on an unforgettable day. Mohamad was very knowledgable and he even chose the best place for our lunch break (the best meal i had my entire time in Egypt).

Thankyou to all the team at Memphis Tours for making our time in Cairo an unfogettable expirence.

Great Tour Company, trip of a life time!
Gant710688, 2/1/11
Ok, when booking with this company you HAVE to have Mr. Ahmed Farahat as your tour guide. He speaks Arabic, English and Italian. He was the best tour guide we have ever had. We had him the first day in Cario and he was so great, we changed our trip around when we arrived back in Cario to have him again. First class guy!
The tour company was great. Very professional, reliable and polite. Its a great deal as well! We where treated like gold.
I know there is a lot of political issues going on over there right now but once that clears up and things get better, check this amazing country out with Memphis Tours. Its so worth it!

Egypt & Memphis tours a Perfect Match Jan 10-2011

We booked an Egypt tour with Memphis tours, the best organized trip
we ever took. And we do travel frequently on these type of tours. We were 3 days in Cairo, 1 day Alexandria Flew to Luxor 4 day nile cruise on Radamis I, 1 day in Abu Simbel and 2 days in Aswan.
Memphis tours rep. was always there with us . Fantastic drivers, Representatives and guides. They were so efficient through the whole process from the Reservartions right to the return to the airport, they gave their 200%. We always felt safe in their hands they even gave us a cell phone to keep in contact. Unbelievable customer care. There was a little mix up with hotel in Abu Simbel in compensation Memphis tours made it up 10 fold by giving so many extra visits not included in Aswan (Camel ride, Neubian Village,Feluca ride,Botanical garden,Philae light show)all this at no cost to us.
They truly are one of a kind unbelievable company who want 100% satisfaction from their customers. They put us in the best hotels, even booked us business class on flight to Luxor. They even booked us at the Fairmont at Cairo airport for our return flight home.
We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Memphis tours.
Thanks to
Mohamed Moktar at reservations very very efficient
Mimmo in Cairo, Hany in Abu Simbel
But a very special thanks to the best rep ever:
Mustafa Osman in Aswan (We never met anyone more dedicated to his customers, but above all a genuine good person…some girl better snatch you up soon !!!!!)

THANK YOU Memphis Tours for a memorable vacation

Another Fabulous Adventure With Memphis Tours!
kmyUSA, 1/23/11
I have just returned from my second trip to Egypt, and I loved it just as much as the first time! On our initial visit, we chose Memphis Tours based on their numerous positive reviews and competitive prices. This time we chose them based on our exceptional and unforgettable experience with them the first time around.

Ahmed Shalpy, our tour consultant, was on top of everything, from start to finish. He quickly responded to all of our questions, and readily accommodated any changes we wished to make along the way. He was also more than willing to grant our request to have the same group of representatives as last year - at least for the Cairo and Alexandria portion of our trip. During the Nile cruise, we had different drivers and guides, provided through the cruise ship.

Our tour leader was Hamada Roshdi. Our tour guide was Amany Salem. And our driver was Sayed Anwer.

Hamada was wonderful, greeting us at the airport with his huge, cheerful smile and a bouquet of flowers. He even served as mediator when the airline misplaced the luggage of one member of our group. Throughout our entire stay, Hamada was always VERY friendly, accommodating, charming, and eager to please! I love that no matter what the time of day, or how long his day had been, he always had a great big, adorable smile and wonderful sense of humor! He is very personable, professional, and an enormous asset to Memphis Tours.

Amany, our fabulous tour guide, was very knowledgeable and had a lot of information to impart regarding the numerous places we visited. Even as we drove, she described the various buildings we passed, and pointed out sites of interest. She also allowed plenty of time for taking pictures, which was very important to me! And, knowing that we didn't really desire buffet lunches, she offered up various options for our meals (all of which were excellent choices!). She too was very friendly and open, and always had something positive to say.

Sayed, our driver, also greeted us with a great, big, cheerful smile and a bouquet of flowers! And obviously there are many drivers who can maneuver in, out, and through Cairo's crazy maze of traffic, but both this year and last, there were many times when I was absolutely amazed at his ability to expertly manipulate our van through the hectic streets and "parking lots" of Cairo with ease! I also appreciate that he stopped a few times (without me asking!) so that I could take pictures! And, like Hamada, no matter how long our day had been, he was always smiling and cheerful.

We also had security, provided by the tourism police, Ahmed Alsayed Ahmed. He too was very friendly. I do think, however, we caused him concern when we spread out or lagged behind to take pictures, but he was always very patient!

From the moment we inquired about our trip till the time we passed through airport security to go home, Memphis tours was there to support us and to ensure we had a memorable experience. Hamada, Amany, and Sayed were constantly going out of their way to ensure we were happy and comfortable. They readily adjusted our itinerary to fit in SEVERAL last minute sites, including a visit to Alexandria. They stopped many times to get us snacks (sometimes from places they knew and liked, sometimes from places we had read about and were interest in trying). We had a couple of VERY long days, lasting 12 hours and more; they stayed with us, always smiling and always cheerful!

Memphis Tours even surprised us, providing us with hotel rooms in Aswan so that we could rest between our early morning trip to Abu Simbel and our late night return flight to Cairo!

There is talk of a return trip to Egypt in 2012, at which time we will definitely be contacting Memphis Tours! And, of course, we will once again request the same amazing group of representatives! I miss all of you, and hope to see you again next year!

“Memphis tour rocks! They are very accomodating to your needs!”
MishkatA4, 6/8/10
I went to Egypt for the first time. It was an amazing experience. We chose the Luxury package with Memphis Tours. We were able to customize the restaurants we wanted to eat in to our liking. We were doing a 4 day cruise with Sonesta Nile Goddess. We got upgraded to the best boat which is the Sonesta Star Goddess which had suites and balconies. The Sonesta Nile goddess did not have these features. We were very happy with this upgrade. Our tour leader Mimmo was very helpful in accomodating us. Nabeel Sifin our tour guide for the sites was very knowledgeable .He knew the answers to all of my questions :). Special thanks to Hamada Roshdy for switching some of our intineary plans to our liking. Also I felt I was dealing with a friend rather than a "tour company". Hamada was willing to help a friend of mine tour Egypt in his own time. I greatly appreciated that. Our driver Ayman was specatuIar as well when he took us to the city of the dead. In Egypt you have to be a skillful driver to get around. I give props to Ayman for that. I will definitely come back to Egypt and work with Memphis Tours :) .
