Al Bateen Executive Airport

Al Bateen Executive Airport, or to call it the Old Abu Dhabi Airport before the construction of the New Mega One, Abu Dhabi International Airport. Al Bateen Airport is remarkable for being the 1st Airport dedicated to the private jet in the Middle East and North Africa regions (MENA). 

Al Bateen Executive Airport first came to light in the 1960s to be the first Airport for Abu Dhabi Emirate. It was opened in 1982, then a year later in 1983 the airport was transformed into a military airbase until 2008, the ADAC turned it into a world-class executive airport.

Nowadays, Al Bateen Executive Airport is operating for a capacity of 50 private jets over its land. Carriers operating over the airport are Falcon Aviation Services, Al Jaber Aviation, and Rotana Jet.
