No doubt, your kids had known about the Pyramids and Tutankhamun from before, but it is totally different when you actually see them yourself. Not only you will see both the Pyramids and King Tut's treasures, but also you'll sail on a felucca to see the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, swim and snorkel among colourful fish in the Red Sea.
Our tour starts in Cairo by visiting the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Even the children will be dazzled when they see the sight of these wonders of the ancient world.
In the Egyptian Museum we will see the mysterious beauty of the mummies, and the marvellous treasure of the child-king, Tutankhamun. Then catch the overnight sleeper train to Aswan, where we have the time to explore its various bazaars or ride camels viewing the sight of the River Nile. Enjoy visiting the Nubian village to take dinner with a local family. We spend a day and a night aboard feluccas, traditional Egyptian sailboats, stopping on our journey to visit Sobek Temple in Kom Ombo. There's good chance to take a sun bath. Catch a glimpse of the daily life of the farmers and villagers who live on both banks of the river. We drive to Luxor , home of the world's greatest collection of antiquities. As well as exploring the ancient Karnak Temple, we visit the tombs of the pharaohs which lie hidden away in the Valley of the Kings. Then, a brief stay at Hurghada gives us a chance to swim and snorkel in the Red Sea.
